  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Fugro Alluvial Offshore Limited has performed a geotechnical investigation for Centrica
(Lincs) Limited to assess the soil conditions for the proposed Lincs Windfarm Export
Cable Route Survey in the North Sea, offshore Lincolnshire. A summary of the site work
is presented in Table 1.
General soil conditions encountered were variable but in summary comprised loose to
medium dense slightly clayey to clayey fine to medium sand. In some cores this is
underlain by interbedded soft clay and sand. Very dense or hard material was
encountered at shallow depths at a number of locations.</dc:description>
