  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">The aim of the benthic survey was to establish the extent and composition of the benthic assemblage and sediment characteristics within the wind farm site, export cable corridor and surrounding environs. This forms part of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process, enabling DOW to characterise the assemblage and it component communities and to carry out an assessment of its sensitivity to the impacts associated with the construction, operation and decommissioning of the Dudgeon project.</dc:description>
