  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Anatec was commissioned by Tidal Ventures Limited (TVL), a joint venture between Bord G&#xE1;is Energy and OpenHydro Technology Limited, to perform a shipping and navigation assessment and a preliminary hazard analysis (PHA) of the proposed Torr Head Tidal Energy Array, off the North Antrim coast of Northern Ireland at Torr Head. As part of the Navigational Risk Assessments (NRA) of the proposed Fair Head Tidal Energy Project and the Torr Head Tidal Energy Project, 28 days of shipping data surrounding the Agreement for Lease (AfL) areas for both projects has been gathered. The data was collected over 2 x 14 day periods to give account to seasonal and tidal variations. This series contains reports for the Summer and Winter 2014 traffic surveys as well as the Navigational Risk Assessment (NRA) and Preliminary Hazard Analysis (PHA) Technical Reports.</dc:description>
