  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Forthwind Ltd (the Client) intends to install a prototype offshore wind turbine generator (WTG) at an offshore location known as the Methil Demonstration Site near Fife Energy Park situated next to Methil in Fife, Scotland (the Test Site). The report in this series describes the classification of the Methil Demonstration Site with respect to prevailing wind conditions for the purposes of site classification and WTG design, certification, installation and operation. Key objectives include the characterisation of wind conditions, including turbulence, shear, mean wind speeds, and extremes such as the reference wind speed (the 50-year return period extreme 10-minute average).</dc:description>
