  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">This project examines the ecological assessment of a cable route undertaken at Pegwell Bay from within the site of the Thanet Offshore Wind Farm. This ecological assessment is required as part of the Ecological Impact Assessment (EIA) of the wind farm.

The survey area for Phase 1 habitat/land use survey and for most protected species comprised the currently proposed line of the cable route between its landfall point and the power station, together with land to 30m on either side of it. A more Extensive area, comprising land to 500m on both sides of the route, was searched for the presence of waterbodies.</dc:description>
