<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Mainstream Renewable Power Limited is currently developing the Neart na Gaoithe Offshore Wind Farm, located 15.5 km off Fife Ness on the east coast of Scotland. An Environmental Statement had to be prepared in support of the application for planning permission to construct and operate grid connection infrastructure associated with the Neart na Gaoithe Offshore Wind Farm located within East Lothian. Land Use Consultants Limited (LUC) with associated sub-consultant CFA Archaeology Limited (CFA) were commissioned by Mainstream Renewable Power Limited, on behalf of Neart na Gaoithe Offshore Wind Limited, to undertake a Cultural Heritage Survey as part of the Environmental Statement. In this regard, CFA Archaeology Limited performed a reconnaissance field survey for the baseline description. This chapter considers the potential effects of the proposed Onshore Works for the Neart na Gaoithe
Offshore Wind Farm, on cultural heritage assets […]. The cultural heritage assessment was undertaken by CFA
Archaeology Ltd (CFA), informed by comments and information provided by Historic Scotland (HS) and the East
Lothian Council Archaeology Service (ELCAS).</dc:description>
