Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the offshore and onshore
elements of the project. The Environmental Statement (ES) is the principal
reporting document of the EIA process. The ES is prepared in order to
support the consent application process for the wind farm extension and is
required under the Infrastructure Planning Regulations (Environmental Impact
Assessment) Regulations 2009 (which transpose the EIA requirements of the
EU Directive (EIA Directive) 85/337/EEC (as amended by Directive 97/11/EC
