<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">This report contains the methodology used to process traffic survey data obtained using AIS together with ARPA and visual observations for the purposes of the vessel traffic assessment. This report also contains the outputs of an analysis of vessel to vessel encounters undertaken for the present and future case scenarios with and without the wind farm. These outputs show the impact the wind farm would have on vessel encounter frequency.
The analysis was extended to include encounter frequency levels in the proximity of the three platforms that reside close to the Triton Knoll site boundary. These platforms are the A1D, A2D and the B1D. This analysis also included the impact on vessel encounters with the platforms.</dc:description>
