  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Underwater noise monitoring was undertaken before and during piling operations at the Kentish Flats Extension (KFE) Wind Farm, UK. Piling operations were performed by GeoSea and IHC Hydrohammer BV on behalf of Vattenfall Wind Power Ltd, between 2nd and 24th May 2015. Ocean Science Consulting (OSC) Ltd was contracted to supply specialist underwater noise monitoring services before and during piling of four monopiles1, which was carried out between 29th April and 12th May 2015. This report provides results of both ambient noise and piling noise measurements, and underwater noise monitoring results, as required by 13 (1)(b) of Part 2 of Schedule 2 (Deemed Marine Licence under the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009) of the Kentish Flats Extension Order 2013 and the Marine Management Organization (MMO).</dc:description>
