2016, Fugro Geoconsulting, Triton Knoll, Site Investigation series https://portal.medin.org.uk/portal/start.php?tpc=015_908ae8e3-5947-4e0a-bb02-fd25fef80b77 Triton Knoll Offshore Wind Farm Limited (TKOWFL) requested Fugro to perform a geotechnical investigation at the Triton Knoll Offshore Wind Farm site to obtain information to assist in the design and installation of wind turbine generators, electrical substations and the associated cable routes. The geotechnical fieldwork was performed from the following vessels: i. MV GloMar Vantage from 16 June to 27 July 2016; ii. MV Gargano from 28 June to 22 July 2016; iii. JIF Challenger from 2 July to 24 July 2016. The field operations and preliminary results reports (Fugro, 2016a, b and c) present full details of the fieldwork performed from each vessel. The geophysical fieldwork was performed from the following vessels: i. Fugro Seeker – base scope from 23 June to 6 July 2016; ii. Fugro Seeker – additional survey from 18 July to 20 July 2016; iii. GeoFocus from 1 July to 14 July 2016. Previous geotechnical site investigations were performed at the Triton Knoll site from the jack-up barge Excalibur from 14 June to 10 July 2009 and from the jack-up barge Sound Prospector from 9 August to 9 October 2015. Results of the previous investigations can be found in the corresponding final laboratory and in situ data reports (Fugro, 2009 and 2016d). Reporting for the project has been sub-divided into 5 volumes for field operations and preliminary results.
