  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">EDF Energy Renewables Ltd (EDF) is currently planning to develop the Blyth Offshore Demonstrator Wind Farm (Blyth site), East of Blyth, UKCS, North Sea. The proposed wind farm is located approximately at a site which ranges from 6.5 km (Array 2) to 17.1 km (Array 4) off the coast from Blyth harbour. Fugro GeoConsulting Limited (Fugro) was requested by EDF to perform a geotechnical site investigation at the site to provide soils information to assist with the proposed development of the Blyth site. The fieldwork was performed in accordance with NORSOK Standard G-001 and instructions received from EDF. The site investigation consisted of cone penetration testing (CPT) and downhole sampling operations and was performed from 4 November to 10 November 2014.</dc:description>
