  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">The purpose of these surveys was to characterise the fish and commercially important shellfish communities of the Hornsea Zone, Project One offshore wind farm site in order to enable an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) of this potential development to be undertaken. Fish and shellfish communities were sampled using pots, nets (intertidal zone) and trawls (subtidal zone) during the spring and autumn of 2011. The cable landfall area, cable corridor, and zone area were covered.</dc:description>
