  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">On the instructions of Entec UK Ltd, Soil Mechanics Pelorus Surveys (SM Pelorus) provided personnel and equipment to carry out the hydrographic survey as part of the Teesside Offshore Wind Farm (TOWF) pre-construction monitoring project.
 The TOWF is located approximately 1.5 km off the coast at Redcar, south of the River Tees, and is expected to comprise 27 turbines covering an area of approximately 10km2.
 The scope of the survey was to provide a baseline hydrographic survey of the wind farm area and export cable route prior to construction. This was achieved by carrying out combined bathymetric, acoustic ground discrimination and debris surveys.
 Survey works were conducted between 01 and 09 December 2009.</dc:description>
