  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Sonar Research and Development Limited was contracted by TOTAL SA to perform a geophysical survey at the site of the proposed Westermost Rough offshore windfarm.

The survey was undertaken to determine the suitability of the site for construction of the proposed offshore windfarm. A marine survey of an area covering 35 square kilometres was carried out within the scope of work. An onshore topographic and seismic refraction survey of the proposed cable route landfall was also carried out as part of the scope of work.</dc:description>
