Analysis of vessel traffic survey data collected in 2010 by Marico Marine was carried out to determine the magnitude and characteristics of vessel transiting Kyle Rhea. The investigation included the analysis of vessel tracks, the comparison of vessel transits relative to tidal state, swept path analysis, concurrent vessel analysis, and the computation of channel width requirements utilising the internationally adopted PIANC methodology.</dc:description>
