As well as annual updates to the OWEER content, this project will see integration of the OWEER into the Offshore Wind Evidence and Knowledge Hub (OWEKH), The Crown Estate’s new offshore wind information repository (https://owekh.com/home). Version 6 of the OWEER is available to be downloaded from the data packages tab above. The sixth iteration provides the most recent information on both evidence gaps and current research projects. The OWEER draws together the key evidence gaps around offshore wind environmental impacts as well as the research projects recently completed, in progress, and in planning, that are relevant to reducing these evidence gaps. The primary purpose of this register is to assist in prioritising funding for the Offshore Wind Evidence and Change (OWEC) programme of strategic research, but it has also been made publicly available for wider use to highlight priority evidence gaps, increase understanding of the breadth and scope of the research field, reduce project duplication, foster collaboration and disseminate project findings. The OWEER aims to foster collaboration in the offshore wind sector.
