<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">EMU Limited was commissioned by Lincs Wind Farm Limited to undertake an urgent survey for unexploded
ordnance (UXO) at positions KP 2.0 to 15.0 of the two proposed Lincs export cable routes located in The Wash
region. The survey comprised the collection of swath bathymetry, magnetometer and sidescan sonar data.
The survey was carried out on a 12 hour operational basis using the vessel EMU Surveyor between the 17th
June and 28th June 2011. In order to achieve project objectives a GeoSwath interferometric multibeam system
and 3 Geometrics G-882 magnetometers were used. Tidal data were acquired for bathymetry reduction
through the collection of GPS height data on board the survey vessel. Nene Surveyor was used to survey
between KP 2.0 to 1.1 between the 28th June and 1st July 2011 because EMU Surveyor was unable to work in
these shallow waters. Additional survey work was carried out between 28th July and 30th July 2011 on Nab Cat
II between KP 2.0 to 1.1</dc:description>
