<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">EGS (International) Ltd carried out a survey for Blyth Offshore Demonstrator Ltd (BODL), offshore of Blyth, northeast England. The objectives of the geophysical survey were to acquire data over Array 2 dredge dump area and 250m radius on 5 WTG locations. Geophysical operations were undertaken using multibeam echosounder (MBES) and side scan sonar (SSS) equipment. The MBES survey was conducted onboard the EGS Watchful, operating out of the Port of Blyth. The vessel mobilised on 25th May 2017, with MBES operations completed by 28th May 2017. Due to a fault with the vessel’s port engine, SSS acquisition could not be carried out safely so a local vessel of opportunity (MTS Taktow) was utilised. The vessel was mobilised alongside Blyth on 30th May 2017, with acquisition completed on 31st May 2017.</dc:description>
