<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">The report in this series presents the factual results from laboratory tests on soil samples from the Burbo Bank Extension Project, performed at NGI’s laboratory in Oslo, Norway. It also includes some interpretation of the laboratory tests with respect to diagrams with cyclic and average shear strains as function of cyclic and average cyclic shear stresses for N=1, 10, 100 and 1000. The main objective of the laboratory programme was to establish design soil parameters with respect to cyclic characteristics for foundation analyses of monopiles for offshore windmill foundations. The laboratory testing program contained static and cyclic DSS tests together with x-ray pictures used for the selection of suitable samples for testing.</dc:description>
