This work builds on the Phase 1 SEA for offshore wind (BMT Cordah, 2003) which was completed in anticioation of the second round of site leasing (Round 2) for the three stategic interest areas commonly referred to as; Thames, Greater Wash and North West (Liverpool Bay). This report is also a companion to a qualitative review of sand banks, sediment pathways and offshore wind farms by Kenyon & Cooper, 2004, and extends earlier generic research funded by DTI, prior to Round 1, on the issue of potential effects of offshore wind developments on coastal processes (Cooper ; Beiboer, 2002). 20000101 20050101
