<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">EGS (International) Ltd, on behalf of Centrica undertook this survey

The LINCS Offshore Wind Farm is located 8km off the Lincolnshire coast at Skegness, just north of the
North Sea area known as “The Wash”. The total route length of the array cables is 69.68km with the
two export cables measuring approximately 47km each. Water depths across the site vary between
8m – 16m Chart Datum (CD). The wind farm consists of 75 3.6MW turbines with monopile foundations
and a substation. An overview of the survey area is provided in Figure 1 & 2.
The primary objectives of the survey were to:
- Determine the Depth of Burial (DoB) of the array and collector cables until a point where the cable
is in at least 0.5m of reliable burial
- Determine the DOB of selected infield shallow burial areas at LS 30-31, 29-30, 36-37, 38- 37 (3
sections), 52-53, 38-56, 61-42, 62-63, 45-46, 44-45, 43-44 and 67-68</dc:description>
