  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">In May 2012 EGS (International) Ltd was contracted to undertake a bathymetric survey in the post-construction (operational) phase of the project to determine whether there are any changes to seabed morphology at the wind farm site including inter array cables and along the export cable routes. In addition the survey covered three locations where debris from wind farm construction has been lost to the seabed. To meet this objective EGS conducted a multibeam high frequency bathymetric survey combined with seabed mapping and sub-surface hazard identification using side-scan sonar (SSS) in conjunction with a USBL system, across each of the proposed WTG, substation locations and export cable routes over the Walney Offshore Windfarm 1 &amp; 2 sites.</dc:description>
