<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">There are numerous measured and modelled datasets available within 20 km of the Wave Hub site. The aim of this project funded by an nPower Juice Fund award was to review and systematically explain the disparate measured and modelled datastes and to assess the wave resource at the Wave Hub site. This study examines the available measured and modelled data to ascertain if a “best estimate” of long term power availability can be predicted for the site along with the likely extremes of wave climate that can be expected. Due to change in the site location during development there is only one measured dataset (obtained using an acoustic Doppler profileometer) at the final Wave Hub site location. This is the first time that all the datasets have been brought together and analysed in a single project.</dc:description>
