  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">This report presents the results from the pre-construction monitoring programme for West of Duddon Sands Offshore Windfarm and has been prepared to comply with Conditions associated with the Marine License for West of Duddon Sands Offshore Windfarm (L/2012/00424). The report seeks to provide a clear and concise account of methodologies and results of pre-construction monitoring conducted in 2012 prior to commencement of offshore construction of the West of Duddon Sands Offshore Windfarm. It has been written primarily targeted at the Marine Management Organisation and its advisors for the purpose of appraising the results of preconstruction monitoring.

To allow access and consideration of primary issues arising from pre-construction monitoring, the report also includes individual survey monitoring reports in their entirety as technical appendices, from which are drawn salient points for consideration in regards to the overall pre-construction
monitoring programme. The report is divided into discrete sections relating to specific aspects of pre-construction monitoring, each of which is structured to be read together with the relevant technical appendix.</dc:description>
