The traffic and transportation associated with the construction of the offshore wind farms and offshore transmission infrastructure (OfTI) has not been considered within this chapter due to the uncertainty of which port will be utilised during construction and the method of transportation for the offshore elements. The chapter describes and characterises the public road system that may be used during construction, operation and decommissioning of the Project, and establishes the traffic flow on these roads.
