  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">The objective of the survey is to obtain a series of digital cameras stills images of the seabed and seabed communities along the proposed line of a cable linking a one quarter scale EVOPOD tidal energy device to a shore terminal and also within the ambit of the device mooring area prior to deployment of the device. The images will be analysed qualitatively and catalogued to provide a basis for comparison with similar images obtained following deployment of the device to assess possible damage to the benthic boundary layer. The survey may conveniently be considered to encompass two components: cable route to shore and EVOPOD device and mooring.</dc:description>
