2012, Aarhus University, Ormonde Offshore Wind Farm, Ornithological Surveys series https://portal.medin.org.uk/portal/start.php?tpc=015_ca1768c9ee3f2d04c124042dc0df9f42 In 2011 DONG Energy commissioned Department of Bioscience, Aarhus University to conduct aerial surveys of birds in a study area around the Walney Offshore Wind Farms and the Ormonde Offshore Wind Farm. The two requested surveys were performed using high resolution image survey methods. The initial schedule was to conduct surveys in December 2011 and January 2012, but due to weather constraints the conduction of the December survey was delayed until January 2012. Thus, the two surveys were performed in January 2012, one on 13th January and the second on 28th January. The high resolution image surveys were carried out from a survey altitude of 475 m. 20120130
