  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Bibby HydroMap Ltd. were commissioned by DONG Energy in May 2016 to undertake a UXO surve y for the Hornsea Project One (HOW01) pre-construction and UXO survey. The purpose of the survey is to provide information to mitigate the risk of unexploded ordnance (UXO) and information to optimise design and installation methods before construction. The areas to be surveyed are the export cable routes (EC), the inter-array cable routes (IAC), the interlink cable routes (ILC), wind turbine generator locations (WTG) and the offshore substation locations (OSS).

Volume 1a details the operational parameters, locations, times, and techniques utilised during the survey on MV Bibby Athena. Volume 1b details the operational parameters, locations, times, and techniques utilised during the survey on MV Lia. Volume 2 is the. Processing Report which provides details on processing techniques undertaken as part of the contract and Volume 3 details the results of the UXO survey.
