<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">A marine survey along the Anglian Coastline between The Wash and Southend. The survey will comprise a combination of seabed-mounted and vessel-mounted acoustic Doppler current profilers (ADCPs) - the seabed mounted ADCPs (10 in total) will be deployed for a minimum of 35 days and the deployment is likely to be phased given equipment availability. The survey is required to provide model input data to help calibrate/validate a coastal model being constructed along this stretch of coastline. The footprint of the scientific instruments will be small and will be deployed with a marker buoy on the water surface for identification purposes.

These data were collected from a Seabed Survey License. A Seabed Survey Licence enables applicants to undertake a range of small scale, temporary activities offshore, which physically interact with the seabed. As they are smaller individual surveys, not all of the deliverables comply with the MEDIN Guidelines required for other data on the Marine Data Exchange.
