  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">This project details the methodologies and findings of the 2010 Gunfleet Sands benthic grab survey, the first post-costruction benthic monitoring survey. This survey was conducted during May 2010 by the Centre for Marine and Coastal Studies Ltd (CMACS) from the survey vessel Aquadynamic. The survey undertaken forms part of the FEPA Environment Monitoring Programme (document 02-04-00747). The FEPA licence stipulates that benthic sampling should be undertaken in order to investigate possible changes to the marine benthic communities of the area; such investigations must also be closely linked to possible changes to sediments.</dc:description>
