<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">In June 2013 EGS (International) Ltd was contracted to undertake the third post construction (6 month) survey of the windfarm. The operations involved monitoring changes to seabed morphology around the turbines and substations as well as along the inter array cable and export cable routes. EGSi carried out the survey using a high frequency multibeam (MBES) system and a side-scan sonar (SSS) in conjunction with a USBL system, across each of the proposed WTGs, substation locations and export cable routes over the Walney Offshore Windfarm 1 & 2 sites.</dc:description>
