<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Ecologic UK was contrated to untertaken a marine mammal acoustic survey.
This report shows the analysis of towed hydrophone data collected by Ecologic UK for Meygen.
A passive acoustic detection system was used and data was collected from May to August 2011.
The equipment collected useful data on all surveys. The main problem encountered was a tendency for the
computer to crash frequently on the May, June and July surveys. It is clear that this was due to very high
trigger rates for the click detector cause by high noise levels, especially using turns.</dc:description>
