<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Calegeo was contracted by EDP Renewables (hereinafter referred as the Client) to perform a geotechnical site investigation at the UK Round 3 Moray Offshore Windfarm (OWF) located within the Outer Moray Firth. The geotechnical data will be used to progress the design of the foundation solutions for the wind turbine generators (WTG) and offshore substation platform (OSP). The current wind farm site (EDA) includes up to 79 turbines and covers an approximate area of 305 km² with water depths generally ranging between 36.3 m Lowest Astronomical Tide (LAT) to 56.9 m LAT.

The purpose of the proposed site investigation is to acquire adequate geotechnical data in order to progress the design of a robust and financially viable foundation solution, enabling the installation of approximately 79 WTG at the Moray OWF EDA site. Included in this series are borehole logs (within the field report) CPT data; Field report; Laboratory and In-Situ Testing Report and operations report.</dc:description>
