<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">In March 2014, the Scottish Government awarded Moray Offshore Renewables Limited (MORL) consent for the construction and operation of 1.116MW of offshore wind generation in the Outer Moray Firth. As part of their consent application, MORL submitted an Environmental Statement (ES) chapter detailing the Offshore Transmission Infrastructure (OfTI). Since the submission of the MORL ES, the National Grid, Scottish Hydro Electric Transmission and MORL have agreed to change the grid connection point from Peterhead to New Deer. The existing OfTI Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) will therefore require updating to reflect this change. Production of an offshore ornithology chapter, including baseline, impact assessment and cumulative impact assessment. The baseline will focus on data gathered from digital aerial surveys and desk-based reviews. Surveys were carried out (2009 to 2012) and provided to the Crown Estate in those years so no additional datasets are included here. Boat based survey (2010-2012) and Aerial survey (2009 to 2010 and 2011).</dc:description>
