  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">TerraConsult Ltd (TCL) were commissioned by Offshore Design Engineering Ltd (ODE) to carry out a ground investigation at Barrow Docks in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria. The work was carried out during the period 13th January 2010 to 21st January 2010. The area of investigation was the dock wall referred to as Anchor Line Berth No.8, which is located centrally within the dock complex. The general objectives of the investigation were as follows: &#x2022; To provide detailed information on the ground conditions present along the line of the dock wall; &#x2022; To confirm the form and construction of the dock wall itself. The information obtained from the investigation will be used to support an assessment of wall stability. This package contains the Stability Risk Assessment Report and the Factual Report, which presents and summarises the fieldwork undertaken and information obtained from the ground investigation.</dc:description>
