  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Fugro GeoConsulting Limited has been contracted by Moray Offshore Renewables Limited (MORL), to conduct a geotechnical investigation at the proposed location of the Moray Firth Wind Farm site located within the Moray Firth. The survey was conducted from the MV Gargano from 2 November 2010 to 15 December 2010. A total of 25 geotechnical boreholes were performed to an approximate final depth ranging from 8 m to 53 m below seafloor. The geotechnical boreholes are required to assist MORL with their wind farm development plans. The water depth range was approximately 40.0 m to 56.3 m, corrected to Lowest Astronomical Tide, as measured by the drillstring. The Field Data report presents the following information:
(i) Details of the geotechnical site investigation, including descriptions of the methods employed
for the in-situ testing and sampling;
(ii) Results of in-situ testing and sampling;
(iii) Results and details of the offshore laboratory testing;
(iv) Preliminary borehole logs and descriptions of the soil strata.</dc:description>
