  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">A survey of the intertidal zone of the proposed Kentish Flats Wind Farm cable landfall area was undertaken by Emu Ltd on behalf of Kentish Flats. The survey is part of the specifications for the site environmental management plan through the pre-construction phase as outlined by FEPA licence conditions. The aim of the study was to establish an ecological baseline of the infaunal benthic communities of the intertidal area within and peripheral to the proposed cable landfall area against which any impacts resulting from the installation of the cable can be assessed. The intertidal survey comprised core sampling of the intertidal sediment along two transects within the route landfall area and a transect within a reference area outside the cable route.</dc:description>
