<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Wessex Archaeology (WA) was commissioned by Centrica Renewable Energy
Limited (Centrica) to conduct a review of 28 archaeological sites in advance of the
construction phase of the Lincs offshore wind farm export cable route.
The proposed Lincs offshore wind farm area lies on the eastern (seaward) side of
the consented Lynn and Inner Dowsing wind farms, approximately 8-12km off the
coast of Lincolnshire. Two export cables will connect the wind farm to the grid, with
landfall to the east of the mouth of the River Nene.</dc:description>
