Sampling of the seabed was undertaken in accordance with general guidelines within CEFAS (2002) Guidelines for the Conduct of Benthic Studies at Aggregate Dredging Sites. Report to DTLR. 119pp, and in accordance with Procedural Guideline 3.9 of the Marine Monitoring Handbook (JNCC 2001). A 0.1 m2 Day Grab was deployed to collect samples of the seabed.</dc:description>
