  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Gardline Geosurvey Limited was contracted to survey the proposed Walney Extension Offshore Wind Farm Cable Route Survey, between 14-Dec-2012 and 28-Dec-2012. The geophysical data acquisition programme was carried out by M.V. Ivero, which sailed from Barrow and returned to there upon completion of survey operations. Titan Environmental Surveys Ltd were commissioned by Gardline Geosurvey to undertake the shallow water cable landfall survey, between 27-Dec-2012 and 26-Jan-2013. The survey objectives were:
A) Hydrographical: 
To provide high quality data for interpretation of:
1. Accurate bathymetry with high resolution and low noise
2. Geomorphologic features on the seabed
Geophysical: 
B) To provide high quality data for interpretation of:
1) Any objects at or below seabed that can influence possible offshore installations
2) Information on possible ferromagnetic objects in the area
3) Information on possible archaeological features in the area
4) Identification of geological layers</dc:description>
