  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">To inform an assessment of the interaction between herring and the proposed Triton
Knoll Offshore Wind Farm development, a herring larvae survey was conducted to
determine whether or not herring spawning grounds (as represented by the high
abundances of small herring larvae) were present within and in the vicinity of the Triton
Knoll wind farm site (within 20km of the site boundary). It is intended that the results of
the survey should be used to inform the development of a robust characterisation for the
purposes of EIA.</dc:description>
