  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Gardline Geosurvey carried out a site survey on behalf of Gardline Environmental for
DONG Energy West of Duddon Sands (UK) Ltd, the object being to investigate the
proposed turbine locations. The survey was conducted using single beam and multi-beam
echo sounders, surface tow boomer, mini hydrophone and side-scan sonar. Positioning
control for the survey was the Fugro Starfix DGPS service.
The survey was conducted over an area measuring approximately 8km x 9.5km, with main
survey lines orientated through the turbine locations on a bearing of 070&#xBA;/250&#xBA; (grid).</dc:description>
