  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">This project is a 1-year extension to project Assessment of the Rehabilitation of the Seabed Following Marine Aggregate Dredging. The project comprises of two components. Firstly the creation of a standalone website to publicise the MEPF programme. This helps to advise calls for proposals and disseminate research funded through the scheme. The second component of the project extends research under the existing Centre for Environment, Fisheries and Aquaculture Science (Cefas) research Rehabilitation of seabed following aggregate dredging by adding an additional year of data for analysis. This progresses the understanding of ecological effects of marine aggregate extraction and examines the likely factors responsible for observed differences in the recovery of licensed extraction sites.
