  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Partrac Ltd was contracted by MORL to deploy a wave buoy at a site in the Moray Firth. The objective of this study was to provide wave data that will inform the developer's physical processes modelling and engineering design in relation to a proposed offshore wind farm development.

Moray Offshore Renewables Limited (MORL) collected metocean data within the development area (location (dd) 58.1659, -2.6333) between 15 June 2010 and 14 October 2011. From June 2010 to 15 March the survey was conducted using a Triaxys Wave Buoy, from 15 March onwards a Datawell Waverider Buoy was used at the same location. For the whole duration of the survey sampling was conducted every 30 mins.
