  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Year 3 Birds &amp; Marine Mammal Post-Construction surveys and assessment for the operational Blyth Offshore Demonstrator Array 2 wind farm. The 2020-21 bird and marine mammal boat surveys covered the inner turbine array (described as &#x2018;Array 2&#x2019;in the project ES) plus a 3km buffer, with a 1km transect separation (as agreed with NE and the MMO). The survey area and survey transects are shown in Figure 1. Alternate transects follow the same route as those used in the EIA baseline (when a 2km separation was adopted), within the inner array 3km buffer zone, with an additional transect inserted between each. The total transect length is 53km, running approximately east-west.</dc:description>
