  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">In February 2013, Vattenfall received a Development Consent Order (DCO) and a deemed Marine Licence from the Secretary of State to extend the existing Kentish Flats Offshore Wind farm (Kentish Flats) and develop the Kentish Flats Extension (KFE) project. The onshore grid connection elements of the KFE were covered by a separate planning application to Canterbury City Council (CCC). 

This Series represents the environmental monitoring plan for the KFE project. The report intends to provide details to the regulators and their stakeholders on the following:
&#x2022;	The proposed methodology developed for the monitoring to meet the commitments made in the Environmental Statement (ES) and the specific consent requirements outlined in the DCO and deemed Marine Licence;
&#x2022;	The provisional programme for all proposed pre-construction and construction phase monitoring; and
&#x2022;	The proposed approach to reporting and presenting the findings of these surveys.</dc:description>
