<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Wessex Archaeology has been commissioned by Blyth Offshore Demonstrator Limited (BODL) to undertake an archaeological assessment of the Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) Clearance and Disposal survey data attained for the Export Cable Route (ECR) and the Wind Turbine Array 2, undertaken in 2016 as part of the Blyth Offshore Demonstration Project. This document has been prepared to detail the results of that assessment.

The archaeological assessment began with a review of the Target Investigation Reports prepared by the contractor commissioned to carry out the inspection and clearance (N-Sea). These included ‘as found’ co-ordinates for the targets, a brief description of the material, and video stills and sonar data. The assessment categorised targets based on archaeological interest, archaeological value and confidence of assessment. Where it was determined that further information was required to inform the archaeological assessment, the Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) video was requested for further assessment.</dc:description>
