<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">This British Geological Survey (BGS) marine multibeam survey took place between November 2007 and February 2008 in on board the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park's solar-powered catamaran, the 'Bata Greine'. The aim of the survey was to obtain detailed bathymetry of the loch floor to be used in a new navigational guide and to acquire morphological data for use in interpretations of the glacial history of the region. As the survey was the first opportunity to use the newly-acquired BGS multibeam system, part of the objective was to provide training for BGS staff in the acquisition and processing of MBES data. These data are archived by BGS.</dc:description>
