<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">This British Geological Survey (BGS) marine geophysical survey took place in February 2007 in Grangemouth & Rosyth docks aboard the survey vessel Calatria. The purpose at Grangemouth was to establish the presence and condition of a clay lining whereas the target in Rosyth was the thickness of overburden, to help evaluate if the depths of shipping berths could be increased. Sub-surface seismic data were gathered using a surface tow boomer. All of the data were recorded digitally. These data are archived by BGS. Technical details of the survey are contained in BGS Commissioned Report CR/07/080C.</dc:description>
