The main purpose was to compare methods of geophysical profiling and geotechnical testing. Sea-bed samples and cores at fifty seven stations were collected using Gravity corer, Vibrocorer and shipek grab/camera. Geophysical lines run included Pinger, sparker, boomer and echosounder equipment. Position fixing during the cruise was Decca Main Chain. These data are archived by BGS.
